We are going try our hand at making solid perfume with beeswax this month! It’s a simple recipe, one that offers the chance to come up with unique scents for yourself or for gifts. With the holidays fast approaching, you’ll have time to experiment with this small batch and get just the right fragrance for everyone on your list. We are all so different in our choices of scents. Some of us like florals, others more citrusy and others might choose more earthy scents like sandalwood. The pocket tin is so nice for your purse or for taking on trips. It’s so very easy! Give this little recipe a try! This recipe makes about 1 ounce of finished product.

Materials:

  • Pot for use as a double boiler
  • Pyrex glass measuring cup
  • Stir stick
  • Measuring spoons
  • Small container such as this metal tin

Ingredients:

Directions:

  • Measure the sweet almond oil and beeswax into glass measuring cup
  • Put an inch of water into your pot & place your cup inside it.
  • Gradually melt on low heat until fully melted.
  • Stir in essential oils with your stir stick.
  • Mix thoroughly.
  • Pour liquid into tin & wait about 30 minutes for it to cool.

That's it! You are ready to apply a little to your wrist and enjoy your new fragrance! I just love this citrus blend of essential oils. You can try any number of combinations. Have fun experimenting and as always...stay inspired!

Best to you!
