At Betterbee, summer is dedicated to the bees. It’s all hands on deck (or hive, in this case), with each of our teams working hard to keep customers supplied, questions answered, and our bees healthy. But when September arrives, we all know what’s coming. The bees need us a little bit less, and we focus more on beekeeper education and community engagement. Whether we’re lecturing, vending, or just delivering orders and hanging out, you can find us at these upcoming events:

Travel Shenanigans
Do you ever have a coworker who travels so much, it seems like they’re never around anymore? For this year’s EAS Conference in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, we were especially creative. Dr. David Peck volunteered his time as EAS’s academic advisor meaning, he wrote, proctored, and graded the master beekeeper exams. Because of this esteemed duty, Dr. Peck was rarely at the Betterbee booth, and we know how many of you enjoy getting to speak with him or take a photo.. Enter: Flat David! Based on the once popular children’s character Flat Stanley, Flat David fully participated in the conference. He spent each day at the vendor booth and posed for photo ops. Flat David even joined in the morning Zumba class! Click here to watch a short video of his adventures.
