Cold Uncapping Knife

A sharp knife gets the job done, and our cold uncapping knife certainly does make it look easy. An offset handle and a center ridge were designed specifically for cutting the wax cappings from a frame of honey.

Great for just a few hives. Have more than a few, or want more control? Try our electric uncapping knife, or adjustable temperature electric uncapping knife.

Note:

• Blade is 11"
• Dipping the blade into a pan of hot water between cuts makes the uncapping easy. For even easier uncapping, purchase two uncapping knives. Uncap with one and leave the other in a pan of hot water. Once the first knife cools, just switch knives.
