Combo Mouse Guard/Closure

When it's time to guard your hives from mice or to move your hive, grab your combination mouse guard and entrance closure to get both jobs done!

Uses for the combo:

• Mouse guard for use in the fall and winter: Flip the guard with the large openings downward to prevent mice from getting in and disrupting your bees or destroying your comb
• Ventilated closure for moving hives: Flip so the openings are facing upward to block all bee traffic when moving hives
• Entrance reducer when needed: Flip the guard so the large openings are facing up and slide the screened adjuster over to leave a reduced entrance for your bees to guard; you can also attach it on top of another entrance reducer (large openings side down) to further reduce your hive's entrance

This mouse guard doubles as an entrance closure and reducer for both 8 frame and 10 frame beehives as well as BeeMax® equipment.

Note:

• We recommend attaching with small push pins for easy removal. When not needed, the narrow profile and aluminum materials mean you just attach it to the hive body out of the way, and it's always right there next time you need it!
