If you have some brood that looks diseased and both this test and the European Foulbrood Test are negative, you should consider chalkbrood, sacbrood, other viruses, and varroa mites causing Parasitic Mite Syndrome. Remember to report any positive results to your veterinarian or state apiculturist. They may be able to help you manage the disease.
