Place your filter over edges of crockpot. I used a nylon stocking, tied the legs together and trimmed it to fit the pot. I like these because they stretch to fit the crockpot nicely.
Add the water to the crockpot.
Wrap your filter around the crockpot lid so wax does not touch sides and catch fire.
Set crockpot to low and allow to process for approximately two hours.
When it is completely melted, lift the filler out and observe the beautiful golden liquid below! Turn the heat off.
To get all the wax to drain out, I like to put a piece of sturdy screen on top of the crockpot and let the remaining wax drain out of the debris. Do not squeeze the debris, just let it drain naturally.
When the wax is cool and hard you can lift the slab right out of the pot.
