| What equipment do I need to get started in beekeeping?

To get started in Beekeeping you should begin with at least of the following: a telescoping cover, hive body, frames, a bottom
board and entrance reducer. You of course would need the bees also. We do suggest that you wear protective clothing (i.e. beesuit, gloves etc) when dealing with your bees.
A easy way to start is with a Betterbee beginner's kit. This kit includes everything you need (except the bees) in your first season in beekeeping.
