Holds 24 lbs. of sugar syrup. The feeder screen is mounted on a plastic plug for easy removal, cleaning and replacement. Additional screen plugs are available for those who wish to construct their own feeder pail. (Ship Wt: 2 lbs.)

How they work: The Feeder Pail is placed upside down on the Inner Cover with Screen Plug over the inner cover hole. The bees stick their tongues through the feeding screen and suck down the syrup.

Hint 1: To clean the Feeder Screen Plugs, use a small amount of rubbing alcohol, then wash throughly with clean water.

Hint 2: Use with COOL sugar syrup only.

Hint 3: Make sure cover is on SECURELY. Use a hammer, if necessary. We learned this (messy) lesson the hard way!

Hint 4: Use 12 lbs. of sugar syrup in the spring. Use 16 lbs. of sugar syrup in the fall.
