Customer Service Representative

POSITION OPENING


Purpose:
Betterbee, Inc. is seeking an experienced, energetic, and highly motivated Customer Service Representative with prior customer service and sales experience. Successful candidates will provide an excellent shopping experience for our customers and help educate prospective customers on the world of beekeeping.

Job Closing Date: Sept. 30, 2012

Job Title: Customer Service Position
Job Type: Entry Level to 2-3 Years Experience
Job Tenure: Part/Full-Time, Probationary period of three months. Full time postion may be available at end of probationary period depending on achievements.


Essential Job Functions:
• Take and process customer orders through the following sales channels:
     • Over the phone
     • Through the Internet
     • In person (at the Betterbee store, at trade-shows)
     • By mail or fax
• Answer customer questions about beekeeping and beekeeping supplies
• Handle and resolve any customer complaints and perform “Return Merchandise
   Authorizations” as needed
• Arrange shipping of orders through small package or freight carriers
• Maintain the Betterbee show room
• Other duties as assigned

Reports to
Sales Manager

Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm, and some Saturdays, 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Compensation
Hourly wage commensurate with experience and skills
• Generous benefits package, including healthcare, 401K, paid holidays and vacation, and preformance based bonuses available to Full-Time Employees
