Chinese Bamboo Grafter is, not surprisingly, made of bamboo in China. Grafting is the process of remvoing a three-day old larva with a grafting tool and placing them in a prepared cell cup with or without royal jelly. The intention behind grafting your own queens is to control the genetics within your hives for colony strength, disease resistance and pest tolerance, among other factors.
