These plastic rods offer a simple and quick alternative to wiring frames when using crimp wired foundation. Packaged in 40 rod bundles.

These pins are added after beeswax foundation is installed. The rods are pushed through the holes in the end bars and secured with a locking washer. The bees readily incorporate the rods into the comb. Installing these rods is much quicker than wiring frames. No embedding is required.
