Just what you need as a beginning beekeeper when you are ready to extract your honey crop. This two-frame radial extractor (medium or shallow frames) is sturdy enough to last a lifetime, set up to get the job done easily, priced right for the job it does and then when you need more capacity and speed, serves as a base unit that is upgradable without having to buy a whole new extractor. If your intention is to stay in beekeeping, in our opinion, this is the extractor to start with.
This extractor is made with 20 gauge stainless steel (the smaller the gauge the thicker the metal) with extra stiffening support at the top and bottom with an anodized crossbar. The tig welded conical bottom helps to efficiently drain the honey from the extractor. We are not aware of an other entry-level extractor that offers radial extraction and the ability to be upgraded so easily as your needs change.
