A great initial investment for new beekeepers. It is economical and gets the job done. If you don't have a lot to invest in an extractor, this will hold you over till you can save your honey money for a more advanced type. This hand-cranked model is made of all plastic, except for a steel center shaft. Includes a plastic tank cover and honey gate. Holds two frames of any size.
Hint 1: Leave gate open a slight crack when extracting to prevent honey froth (air bubbles).
Hint 2: This extractor is tangential, meaning it can only extract one side of a frame at a time. The frame must be flipped manually to extract the second side.
