Our BeeMax® Screened Bottom Board features a 3/8" entrance across the front, so an Entrance Reducer is not required. The bottom edges are scalloped to allow cross ventilation and eliminate moisture. Features a built-in mesh screen that is more secure.

Hint 1: In areas of potential mouse damage, a Mouse Guard should be tacked across the entrance to prevent chewing along the lower edges of the Beemax® Hive Body.

Hint 2: We recommend placing the BeeMax® Bottom Board on a Cedar Hive Stand or a wooden pallet. It should never be placed on cement blocks unless all four sides are supported.

Hint 3: We leave this BeeMax® Bottom Board open all winter long.
