Metal Queen Excluder

A queen excluder serves as a selective barrier inside the hive, limiting where the queen and drones can travel. It is meant to keep the queen out of the honey supers, as if she lays eggs in the honey supers it will be hard to harvest clean honey. This metal queen excluder is placed over the brood chamber. It’s wide enough to let the workers through, but too narrow for the queen. Fully assembled.
