8 Frame Assembled Hive Body - Select Grade

Select Grade:  Only occasional small knots, compared with Commercial Grade, which may have a greater number of knots. Both are top quality and long-lasting.

Here in the North country, a sturdy, good quality hive body is essential. Our hive bodies serve as the year-round home for your bees. They are constructed from 7/8” thick Eastern Pine (1/8” thicker than other companies) to ensure a safe, secure home for your bees. (Makes for a much warmer winter home, as well.)

Dimensions: 20” long x 14” wide x 9-5/8” high.

Hint 1: Our hive bodies are interchangeable with all other American standard equipment, even though our hive bodies have thicker, stronger walls than what our competition offers.

Hint 2: The thicker wood also makes possible a deeper, easier grip handhold. That means fewer accidents in the field when you're wearing gloves.
