8 Frame Fume Board

A smellier and faster alternative to our triangular escape board, fume boards are especially handy in evacuating bees from honey supers come harvest time. The fume board is placed above the honey supers after you have sprayed it or applied bee repellant like Bee-Go to the felt underside. After about 10-15 minutes, you can remove your emptied super. The bees are driven into the brood chambers, leaving the supers bee-free and ready to harvest.

If you have several hives, a fume board is the easiest way to drive the bees from your honey supers. This works best on warm, sunny days.
