BeeMax® Telescoping Cover for Wooden Hives

This Beemax Telescoping Outer Cover is sized to fit 10 frame wooden hives. It is a cost effective alternative to a traditional wood cover, which might have an R value of 1 at best. This outer cover will give you an R value of 6.5. We recommend, as with any outer cover, that you keep a stone or brick on top to keep the cover from blowing off in a storm or foul weather.

This is such a good telescoping outer cover we include it in every 10 Frame Beekeeping Kit we sell. We even use them on top of our colonies that are still in wooden beehives (90% of our colonies are in BeeMax Equipment. It simply is better).
